Introducing RentMonitor (formerly Propertize)

Why the New Name?
As you can see, we’ve changed the name to RentMonitor. While we liked the name Propertize, it can be difficult to spell, especially when hearing of it for the first time. This becomes a problem when trying to type our web address into a browser. Also, we wanted a name that was more descriptive of what we do. We are working hard to provide our users with the best rental property management solution available. As we release an entirely new version of our software, we thought now would be a good time to give the name an upgrade as well. We’re still the same company providing the same great level of service.

So, What’s New?
RentMonitor is a major upgrade to Propertize. First, the interface is completely redesigned to provide a better user experience. It is setup to accommodate the new features we have already added, and new features we have planned. Here’s a rundown of some of the new features:

Portfolio Overview
This is what you’ll see each time you login. Important notifications, monthly cash flow, and unpaid rent overviews tell you what needs to be addressed immediately.

Enhanced Income & Expense Tracking
We’ve made it even easier to enter your rent payments and added the ability to send rent receipts to your tenants. You can also create your own custom income and expense categories.

Financial Analysis
RentMonitor takes the information you have entered about your properties and presents the most important calculations to you in a simple format. Gross income, cash flow, cash on cash return and more. It’s quick and easy to see how a property is performing.

Advertise Your Vacancies
This is a great new addition that will make it easier to fill your vacancies. Each of your rentals has its own website complete with photos. Simply link to this site, or embed the provided HTML into Craigslist to enhance your listing.

Store Documents & Photos
Use RentMonitor to store all your property photos online. Upload documents that will be available to your account from any computer connected to the Internet.

Rent Notices, Late Notices, Rent Receipts
RentMonitor will automatically send your tenants rent notices 3 days before their rent is due. Send late notices with the click of a button.
